Continuing the message: Eastern and Kowloon City
Anti-crime publicity efforts in several Districts continued through November.
On November 5, an anti-loanshark campaign was mounted in Eastern District with officers from its three divisions handing out leaflets to residents and building managers urging them to report loanshark activity and criminal damage or intimidation incidents stemming from debt collection.
Meanwhile, Kowloon City District Commander Peter Burbidge-King led a group of more than 30 officers to visit three shop-burglary blackspots in the District on November 6. They distributed leaflets to proprietors urging them to take precautions against burglars.
