Service quality supremos


ACP (SQ) Harry Blud with long-serving officers from the Complaints Against Police Office

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Service Quality) Harry Blud presented Commanding Officer's Commendations to four detectives from the Complaints Against Police Office on December 20.

The accolades were for their top investigative work in a Perverting the Course of Justice and Causing Wasteful Employment of Police case, which resulted in the arrest and conviction of a man.

The officers were Senior Inspector Yeung Fai-hung (now in Shek Kip Mei Division), Sergeant Cheng Kim-hung (now in Tsuen Wan Division), SGT Chow Kin-san (now in Airport District) as well as SGT Yan Wai-hung of CAPO Kowloon.

Mr Blud also presented Police Long Service Medals and Clasps to seven other officers: Superintendent Dominic Yue Ting-wang, Station Sergeant Jor Ying-ming and SGT Fong Kwok-leung from CAPO New Territories; SGT Wong King-kuen (now in the Police Training School); SGTs Wong Chi-kin and Tong Chi-cheong from CAPO Hong Kong Island; and SGT Cheung Chi-man from CAPO Kowloon. The seven officers had served the Force for up to 25 years.
