IPCC boost Observers' list

The Independent Police Complaints Council (IPCC) increased its team of Lay Observers to 57 after the appointment of 27 on April 1.
Lay Observers are appointed by the IPCC under its Observers Scheme to eye investigations by the Complaints Against Police Office (CAPO).
A briefing for the newly-appointed Observers was held April 12 with CAPO and IPCC staff introducing the police complaints system.
