Simple task reflects officers' hearts

I had a pleasant experience March 27 when I saw two police officers remove an abandoned sign-post on Cornwall Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui. It was hanging and about to fall, risking pedestrian injury.

The action taken reflected the officers' thoughtfulness, initiative and alertness. They showed a high standard of quality and integrity. It is an indication the Police is recruiting quality crew and implementing high standards of education and training. Although the incident could have been seen as 'no big deal', the two officers went to the trouble and time of finding and loaning a ladder and some tools, and they caught my attention and respect. Congratulations!
