Herbal heroes win silver
 PCs So Pak-wing and Wong Kin-lam receive their awards from medicine shop owners |
Two Police Constables of Yau Ma Tei Division were awarded silver plates by the proprietors of a Chinese medicine shop in Nathan Road recently for foiling a burglary.
Patrol Sub-unit Two PCs So Pak-wing and Wong Kin-lam saw two men acting suspiciously while patrolling an alley near the shop, and despite resistance, subdued them with the help of two off-duty officers. The PCs sustained minor injuries.
The two arrested persons pleaded guilty in court on February 8 and were sentenced to two years prison.
