Also elected were: vice-chairman Lau Tat-keung, secretary Chui Po-chu, assistant secretary Cheung Kong-sang, treasurer Wan Miu-ling, assistant treasurer Wong Chui-sang, membership secretary Li Tak-chung, and legal secretary Wu Chun-shing.

Other executive committee members were Chan Kam-wo, Chan Lai-ting, Chan Siu-nin, Hau Kwong-chi, Chim Fuk-hoi, Sin Chat-ching and Wai In-fun. In his 1999-2000 annual report to the annual general meeting on May 26, Mr Liu also paid tribute to former LIA chairman Chau Chuen-kung and Permanent Honorary President of the association Lee Shu-fung who both passed away in 1999, and thanked their contributions to the association.
