PHC net emotional hockey win

Holy hockey stick, Batman, it's the Renegades' Pat Laidler and his caped-crusading daughter!

Make or break: A gap in the defense is spotted

Tic-tac "yikes, watch my . . . "toe!

Target locked: Lining up for the shot

The teams strike the obligatory pre-curry pose!

The Police Hockey Club beat the Renegades 3-2 on May 26 in a moving tribute to their former convenor.

The tough-fought match at the Hong Kong Football Club in Happy Valley was played in memory of John Fuller who sadly passed away a week earlier. Mr Fuller joined the Force in 1979 and rose to Chief Inspector, his last post being Acting Tai Hing Divisional Commander.

After the game, the Club held its AGM and dinner with a number of proposals made which were now being considered, to ensure a fitting tribute to their late convenor.

The Club invites staff to their indoor hockey sessions at the Police Sports and Recreation Club. They're held every Tuesday from 6.15 to 7.45 pm starting June 13. Equipment is provided and players should wear non-marking soles. Contact Peter Bacon on 2398-6203 or David Poon at 9252-2128.
