Road safety graduation

A batch of Road Safety Patrol members recently graduated from the Sha Tin Road Safety Park Assistant Pioneers Scheme, boosting their sense of belonging and leadership skills.

The 30 youths completed the second phase of the course held July 24 to 26, improving their communication and speech-making skills to help in road safety promotion and education, and providing an opportunity for all-round development to prepare them in serving the community. The first phase was held April 22 to 24.

Traffic Headquarters and the Road Safety Patrol jointly organised the scheme, and similar courses would be held in future. It was first introduced at Pak Fuk Road Safety Town, North Point last year.

The Certificate Presentation Ceremony was held on the last day, with New Territories South Traffic Woman Superintendent Helen Kwong Chen-mee and Luk Choi-lung, the Patrol's New Territories South Regional Commander, officiating.
