Heroin haul to boot!
Narcotics Bureau Superintendent Chau Ping-sun displays the $5.8 million in heroin seized from the boot of a car in Tai Po on September 27. After extensive investigations, NB officers ambushed the vehicle in an Evergreen Street carpark. Some seven kilograms of heroin cut into 20 slabs was found in a travel bag and the car's two male occupants were arrested. One of them had managed to escape from the carpark, driving to Po Nga Road before fleeing on foot. However, he was soon intercepted nearby. << Back to Index >> |
