Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines . . . those wretched deadlines! We all have them for our reports and other paperwork, particularly in the world of police and newspapers.
So please be sure all your OffBeat contributions are submitted, checked, amended and approved BEFORE the deadline for the particular edition you wish to be included in.
Stories, letters, notices, advertisements, photos etc, all abide by the same deadline.
From now, anything late will not be considered for that issue (apart from in exceptional circumstances accepted by the OffBeat Editorial Committee). Page 2 of each edition (see below) features the following issue's deadline date. However, try to get your contributions in as early as possible to ensure page space in your desired issue.
Remember, the sooner you submit a piece, the sooner it is checked, approved and ensured for publication.
