POC English and new dishes

A few places are still available in our English Club which started February 16. Run by a UK university graduate with three year's tutoring experience in Hong Kong, the Club will include grammar, vocab building, pronunciation, sentence structure, and conversational confidence.

Classes will be organised on an age basis as follows; Fridays 3-4 pm will be P5 and P6 students, 4-5 pm will be P3 and P4, 5-6 pm will be F1 and F2, 7-8 pm will be F3 and F4. Saturdays from 12-1 pm will be F5 and F6, and from 2-3.30 pm will be F7 and above. Class size will be limited to 10, and the cost is $400 for 10 sessions. * The new vegetarian menu from mid-February includes braised bean curd with mixed mushrooms at $38, a bouquet of vegetables braised with bamboo pith at $40, sauteed lily bulb and honey peas at $40, and enoki mushroom and bean curd soup at $45, plus lots more!

* Our Chef is very excited because we've bought him a new fish tank, and to celebrate he's got some great recommendations.

How about, steamed baby abalone at $48, steamed fresh garoupa at $88, poached fresh shrimps at $68, and double-boiled shark's fin soup with yunnan ham and vegetables at $48 per person?

* There's a special two-person seafood and shark's fin set menu at just $228, and an even more special four person seafood and sharks' fin set menu, at just $338.

Beat Cafe

* The Sizzling Steak Promotion continues with New Zealand sirloin steak only $65, mixed grill at only $68, US chicken steak at $52, and NZ fillet of beef with water king prawn only $72.

* New dishes coming in February: Baked spaghetti with mushroom, ham and cheese baked chicken fried rice Portuguese style, baked garoupa fried rice and baked seafood fried rice.
