PPRB's replies to the media
A note was sent to an English-language paper on February 6 regarding a letter it ran from a reader, questioning police power to search a person's wallet. PPRB's response was that police stops-and-searches played an important role in detecting and preventing crime, and that the Police Force Ordinance empowered officers to carry out the procedure.
