Long services and loyalty lauded



Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui presented Valedictory Letters, Certificates of Exemplary Service and retirement souvenirs to 18 officers and staff at Police Headquarters on March 16.

The 18 recipients were Senior Superintendent Yan Fook-mou, Station Sergeant Lo Shek-lun, Sergeants Lam Chi-tong and Kwan Shun-wah, Senior Police Constables Tam Chung-chiu, Chan Kai-ming, Cheung Lin-hing, Chung Kin-shing, Yau Wing-cheung, Lo Sau-kuen, Li Kwok-hing, Chin Hung-wan and Chan Sai-pui, Woman Senior Police Constable Chung Sui-ying, Senior Clerical Officer Wong Tat-ming, Assistant Clerical Officers Tong Ming-kwong, Chin Wai-man and Office Assistant Fong Kam-wai.


Some 208 officers received accolades from Hong Kong Island Regional Commander Eric Leung Chi-bun at the Police Training School on March 8.

Among the recipients, 100 were handed Police Long Service First, Second and Third Clasps, 67 were presented Police Long Service Medals, two were awarded the Long and Meritorious Service Insignia for Traffic Wardens, and 13 were presented Long and Meritorious Service Certificates for Civilian Staff while 26 were handed retirement souvenirs.


New Territories South Regional Commander Mike Dowie thanked 148 officers for their hard work and loyalty through a host of presentations on March 8.

Some 119 officers received Police Long Service Medals and Clasps, retirement souvenirs were handed to seven officers, the 20-year Long and Meritorious Service Certificate was awarded to 10 civilian staff, and another 12 officers picked up Commanding Officer's Commendations.


New Territories North Regional Commander John Chung Hiu-pang presented accolades to 292 officers at NTN Regional Headquarters on February 21.

Of them, four were awarded Commanding Officer's Commendations, 60 were handed Police Long Service Medals, 214 were presented First, Second and Third Clasps, 11 were awarded 20-Year Long and Meritorious Service Certificates for Civilian Staff, and three were handed retirement souvenirs.
