Prompt harbour help

(This letter was sent to Marine Harbour Assistant Divisional Commander [Operations] Kong Yiu-man)

My wife and I were aboard a pleasure craft enjoying the Lunar New Year fireworks display on January 25. The boat was overcrowded and the air was stuffy. She had difficulty breathing and collapsed. A police vessel rushed to our call for help and an officer conducted first aid before taking her to hospital.

She recovered well, and on her behalf, I would like to express my gratitude to all the officers involved in the rescue.

Lam Woon-hung

(Editor's Note: Marine Harbour Divisional Patrol Sub-unit Team Three were involved in the operation with Police Constable Lai Fu-wing performing the first aid.)
