Force shows boast new hosts

Police presenters: Charmaine Yip, Paul Edmiston, Sharon Kwok, Cheng Chi-shing and Myron Ng

Police Report and its Cantonese-language sister show Police Magazine have some new faces to help present the programmes.

Planning and Development Branch Senior Inspector Paul Edmiston has started co-presenting Police Report on a voluntary basis, in addition to his normal duies. With 13 years service, Paul will bring to the screen his experience from across the Force, including stints in Uniform Branch, Traffic and the Police Tactical Unit, to keep the English-speaking public up to date on the latest Police news and announcements.

Meanwhile, Police Mag viewers will have noticed media personalities Sharon Kwok Sau-wan and Cheng Chi-shing presenting the last couple of episodes. The duo are helping host the programme for six weeks alongside the Force's own charismatic presenters Woman SIP Charmaine Yip and IP Myron Ng, who will be working hard to revamp the programme.

If officers have missed any Police broadcasts, they are available at the Force library. For details, colleagues can either approach the librarian or the Police Public Relations Branch TV and Film Section.

Meanwhile, a link from the Force website to RTHK's was being established to make Police TV shows available on the Internet. Remember, please forward your feedback and comments to PPRB to assist it in enhancing the Force image.
