Candidates in this year's Police Constable/Senior Police Constable to Sergeant Promotion Qualifying Examination are reminded they should arrive at their assigned Examination Centre by 10.30 am on August 12.

This is at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.

Mobile phones, pagers and other devices are not allowed to be carried into the examination halls.

The examinations website on POINT has recently been enhanced to include extra information.

This includes:

a) Question papers and debriefing reports for Inspectorate Standard III Examination of April 2001;

b) 'Instructions to Candidates' and 'Examination Preparation and Technique' for the PC/SPC to SGT Promotion Qualifying Examination;

c) 'Instructions to Candidates', 'Preparing for the Examinations', 'Study Skills' and 'Examination Technique' for Inspectorate Standard II and III Examination; and,

d) System for Awarding Grades in the above-mentioned examinations.
