Twenty officers received letters of promotion from Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui at Police Headquarters on August 3. They were Chief Superintendents To Chun-wai and Cheng Tak-wah; Senior Superintendents Chau Kwok-leung and Jim Lisle; Superintendents Shaun Dove, Yeung Chui-mei, Li Kwok-leung, Ng Suk-fun, Ong Peck-san, Ng Wing-kai, Ng Ping-kuen, Li Chiu-yin, Brian Lowcock, Siu Heung-wing, Choy Wise, Kwok Ho-fai, Tsang Ka-kin, Kwok Yik-man, Chiu Ming-wah and Leung Lap-fun.
