Meeting and greeting

A Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) delegation paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui at Police Headquarters on September 4. FBI's Organised Crime Section Chief Thomas Fuentes, Asian Crime Enterprise Unit Chief William Liu, United States Department of Justice Bruce Ohr and FBI Legal Liaison Officer (HK) Tony Lau also attended a briefing by Crime Wing officials.

Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui and New Territories South Regional Commander Mike Dowie, accompanied by Welfare Branch staff, visited Police Constable Li Kin-chung at Princess Margaret Hospital on September 5.

PC Li had part of his right thumb severed when he and his New Territories South Emergency Unit colleagues responded to a call saying that a man was wielding a chopper in his home in Ho Pui Street in Tsuen Wan on September 2.

Mr Tsang consoled PC Li, wishing him a speedy recovery and telling him not to be worried about his work. He said the Force would provide support for him and his family.
