Hanyu Pinyin competition results
A total of 48 Force colleagues entered the competition. Ten entries correctly translated all three Hanyu Pinyin phrases into Chinese characters. Please refer to the Chinese text for the answers.
A lucky draw among the 10 successful entrants was conducted by the Bureau's Senior Superintendent Chiu E-ping. The lucky winners were Woman Police Constable Wong Wai-fan, Police Translator I Ma Hing-fai and Police Constable Wong Yam-wing.
An award ceremony was held on October 18. Each winner was awarded prizes donated by the Working Group on Greater Use of Chinese in the Force and the Training Development Bureau, Training Wing.
