Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui hosted a lunch reception for members of the Independent Police Complaints Council (IPCC), Legco Security Panel and Fight Crime Committee at his residence on December 1.

The gathering is aimed at further enhancing cooperation and understanding between the Police and members of the three bodies in an informal setting. Mr Tsang suggested that the guests, especially the IPCC members, should visit frontline formations to better understand the difficulties faced by frontline officers at work.

Meanwhile, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Justice Fan Fangping visited Hong Kong from December 2 to 8 to learn more about the economic, political and social developments here.

He paid a courtesy call on Mr Tsang at the Police Headquarters on December 7. Mr Tsang briefed him on the Force organisation, the latest developments of the Force and the law and order situation in Hong Kong.
