| The Lantau South Division hosted
the annual Oktoberfest in the Lantau South Police Station garden in the
evening on November 9.
Officers of the Lantau District and its Divisions, their guests, rural committee members and village representatives gathered together in a harmonious and musical atmosphere. Lantau South Divisional Commander Steve So Kam-pang welcomed the guests in remarkably fluent German. The guests were charmed by the performance of Taiwanese folk singer "Cappy", who especially flew in from the island for the event. Lantau District Commander Mike Cartwright also demonstrated his saxophone talent and raised $3,060 for the Children's Cancer Foundation. |
