Thrilling Police Night 2001 |
|||
About 1,000 police
officers and their guests enjoyed the Police Night 2001 held at the Police
Training School on December 6 and 7.
Some 200 guests of a reception hosted by Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui watched the show on the first night. They comprised representatives from police staff associations, the Fight Crime Committee and community organisations as well as overseas police officers based in Hong Kong. The audience listened attentively to the golden melodies performed by the Police Band, the Auxiliary Police Band and the Guangdong Armed Police Band. They were also thrilled by the stunning drill performance by Recruit Police Constables. The synchronised barking of police dogs at the right moments when the song "How much is that doggie in the window?" was played also amazed them.
