Support for health-impaired officers

A new round of Health-Impaired Officers' Group meetings will be held every Thursday between February 28 and March 21.

Personnel Wing officers will give talks on the policy and working procedures on handling health-impaired officers and experts will also be invited to introduce stress management techniques and rehabilitation activities.

The Force takes an encouraging and supportive attitude towards health-impaired officers, helping them to adjust to work pressure, in keeping a healthy mentality and in holding an altruistic working morale.

Junior Police Officers meeting the following criteria are welcome to attend together with their family members:

1) Placed on the active list of health-impaired officers.

2) Never participated in previous rounds of the support group.

3) Are not due for retirement in the coming year.
