Quick thinking officers praised

Two quick thinking police officers from the Waterfront Police Station enabled a woman to recover within hours her lost valuables and more than $33,000 in cash recently.

In appreciation of their effort, the woman presented Station Sergeant Ng Shu-kan (extreme right) and Police Constable Tang Kwok-chun (extreme left) a banner at a ceremony in the police station.

The lost property was handed to the officers who immediately alerted Aberdeen and Stanley duty officers after a short enquiry.

The woman made a report at the Aberdeen Police Station and was told to recover her valuables at the Waterfront Police Station.
