*Brink's Hong Kong Ltd Chairman Ali Tuet sent a letter to the Commissioner thanking Police Constables Lau Wai-lun, Cheung Kin-wa, Ip Ngai-chung and Lo Yuk-ki of Tsuen Wan Division for providing immediate assistance to a company staff who was shot in a robbery in Tsuen Wan last December.

*Maunsell Consultants Asia Ltd appreciated the assistance provided by Traffic New Territories South officers in the opening of On Kwan Street and the closure of On Lai Street last month in relation to the construction of the Ma On Shan Rail. The company thanked the officers for advising on road markings and traffic signs and directing traffic to enhance public safety and minimise public inconvenience, saying in a letter that "this is an excellent example showing the commitment and quality of services provided to the community by the Hong Kong Police Force".

*A Mr To Wai-leung and his wife were impressed by the efficient manner of police officers in recovering the lost property of their friend while travelling in a minibus from Whampoa Gardens to Tsim Sha Tsui last month. Their friend eventually found the bag, and Mr and Mrs To wanted to thank Station Sergeant Li Ka-wo and Police Constables Tan Yuk-han and Wong Chi-sin of Kowloon West Emergency Unit who handled the lost property report. In a letter to the Police, they highly praised the officers' professionalism and their courteous attitude in serving the public.
