Wan Chai wins ... again
The Wan Chai District basketball team won the annual Luscombe-Leslie Cup Inter-Formation Basketball Competition 2001-2002 by narrowly beating the Tsuen Wan District 60 to 57.
The Wan Chai team won the cup for two consecutive years.
Eighteen teams competed in the event held between September and December last year. The finals were held at the Police Sports and Recreation Club last month. The second runner-up was Marine Outer Waters District.
Another popular basketball competition - McDonald Cup - will be held after the Lunar New Year. Colleagues are welcome to participate.
