Accompanied by Kowloon West Regional Commander, Ms M. Stradmoor, Commissioner Tsang stressed that the Force had this year accorded priority in curbing violent crimes, in particular armed crime cases.

"The detection of this case by officers of Kowloon West Region reflected an effective co-operation among officers concerned,"Mr Tsang said.

He also called on the officers to continue their good work as the case had set a good precedent that had won the public's commendation.
