During the meeting, Mr Lee, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Training, Mr David Thomas, and Assistant Commissioner Crime, Mr Yam Tat-wing, exchanged views with the visitor on issues of mutual interests.

Both sides also discussed the feasibility of running joint training programmes and training exchanges between the two enforcement bodies.

Meanwhile, Mr Lee, spoke on Police Complaints Monitoring System at a Rotary Club luncheon on April 16.

"I will endeavour to assure you that the Hong Kong community currently enjoys the benefits of such a system; a system which ensures your concerns about the Police are fairly and fully addressed, as well as one in which we as a Police organisation are given opportunity to improve ourselves,"he said.
