Officers praised for nabbing taxi robbers
Officers from New Territories North Regional Crime Headquarters and Tuen Mun District were recently presented with silver plates, by representatives of 12 taxi operators' associations, for their outstanding performance in a recent operation against taxi robbers.
Through their efforts, two suspects responsible for a series taxi robberies have been arrested.
The taxi operators also presented a cheque for $2,000 to the Police Children's Education Trust in appreciation of the Police efforts in the fight against taxi robbery.
