The Learning & Development Exhibition 2002 has been scheduled for November 22, 23 and 24 at the Indoor Games Hall of the Police Sports & Recreation Club.

The first Force Learning & Development Exhibition, held in 2001, was a great success. It was attended by over 6,000 Force members, most of whom made very favourable comments on the organisation and contents of the exhibition.

The objectives of the Exhibition are to: (1) Promote life-long learning; (2) Publicise learning opportunities and sources for Force members engaged in developmental learning and self-learning, and (3) Promote experience sharing between officers who are interested in life-long learning and those who have benefited from it. Some of those officers who had received overseas training will also share their experience and learning points with Force members during the Experience Sharing Sessions.

The Exhibition will cover: (1) Life-long Learning; (2) Developmental Training; (3) Psychological Competence; (4) Physical education/First Aid/Life-saving Training; (5) Media Training; (6) e-Learning; (7) Experience Sharing Sessions, and (8) Seminars by academics from universities and external learning institutions.
