Here is the solution to this dilemma. On the October 9, officers at the inspectorate level and above (and civilian staff responsible for personnel matters) will be given a Virtual Secretary called 'My Secy' in the new version of PICS (PICS 2002 3rd Edition). With 'My Secy', twenty-one HRM-related functions (as shown in the table) will be at your fingertips. You don't have to go through any learning process. All you need to do is to click the 'My Secy' button to open up a menu and then select a function. In seconds, you will get the information that you want. Everything is automatic! My Staff	It list out all staff under your command. You may then look at all of their PIC records
HRM Planner (Supervisor Mode)	*The projected leave plans of all officers under your command will be displayed graphically on the HRM Planner II. *In this Supervisor Mode, you will see their updated leave balances. *You can also calculate the number of Planned Absentees during a selected period through the new "Head Count" function. *You may even go into their leave plans by a simple click on their names in the Planner and mark your approval to their projected leave plans. Once this is done, they will not be able to change their plans without referring to you.
ARF/TORF	You will be assisted in retrieving the ARF/TORF of your staff for writing or reading.
HRM Reports	PO Progress Report (a new report to help you monitor your officers' progress in POs scheme), OUD Report, HIO Report, Revolver Prohibition Report, Restricted Posting Report and HRM Special Report Summary, which show the situation under your command, will be automatically generated.
Inputting OUD/ Revolver Prohibition	You will be assisted in opening OUD or Revolver Prohibition Records for inputting or updating.
E&S Report	E&S Reports and the enhanced Redeployment Report will be automatically generated to show the situation in your Formation. The Redeployment Report is enhanced so as to give you a full picture on the proceeding of DEC paper submitted and the details of the redeployment situation.
GF8/ Driving Licence Report	GF8 and Hong Kong Driving Licence Report will be automatically generated, Licence Report which give you a full picture on your driving resources.
