Busy at work on National Day

The Police had a busy time ensuring that events went smoothly on National Day.

Apart from joining other members of the disciplined services in a number of performances and parades, many more of them were deployed on crowd management duties for the flag raising ceremony at the Golden Bauhinia Square in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In the evening, the National Day Firework display called for road closures and crowd management in the most favoured viewing spots on both side of the harbour. In the harbour Marine Police were at work directing and regulating the movement of vessels through the harbour, ensuring that the barges launching the fireworks could do so safely.
