The 'More Team Building Skills' workshop was organised by the Training Development Bureau to illustrate and demonstrate how best to use the Team Building book distributed earlier this year to Training & Staff Relations Officers, and other officers with a training role, to assist them when conducting Training Day sessions.

The authors, Dr B.K. Choy, Programme Director, HKU SPACE and Mr H.M. Ng, Training Consultant, conducted the workshop to enable officers to apply the concepts and games written in the book; and to equip them with the right tools to conduct icebreakers, energisers and other short activities to facilitate more interactive training.

After the workshop, all the participating officers put their thumbs up as they saw and felt for themselves, the effect of using appropriate activities to create a supportive and conducive learning atmosphere and facilitate more effective learning.
