Happy revellers reminisce over not-a-few beers

No less than six former Royal Hong Kong Police officers were among a large gathering of people in Towcester, England, celebrating the 40th anniversary of one of their number.

All had started at Police Training School back in 1981 and they spent most of the party 'remembering with advantage the deeds they did on their Hong Kong beat'. They are pictured raising a toast to all their former colleagues, serving or retired, wherever they may be. They are (left to right) Mike Kitney, Dale Ashford, Andy Young (the birthday boy), Mike 'Buzz' Quilter, Dick 'Crash' Wilson, and the front man (our correspondent) Jim Prisk.
