Under the campaign 'Operation Merry Christmas', officers from the MTR District, Emergency Unit Kowloon East, Traffic Kowloon East and their family members brought with them brand new and second-hand toys collected in a donation campaign when they went to visit children in paediatric wards on the Christmas Eve.

Later, Dr Patricia Ip of the United Christian Hospital sent a letter to thank the officers for their thoughtfulness and kindness.
