After their last performance, the band was visited back-stage by senior officials of MPS and the Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office.

The band was thanked for its participation and complimented on its performances, which were described as symbolising the return of Hong Kong to the Motherland.

This was the first time the Band performed in Beijing for the MPS and the visit did much to strengthen the growing respect and friendship which existed between the law enforcement authorities of Hong Kong and the Mainland.
