Uniforms were put aside and sports kit donned, when Kowloon West recently held their sports day at the Police Sports & Recreation Club; the first after a gap of some three years. The weather was good and the event was a great opportunity to meet up with colleagues. It proved to be a competition in the true spirit of a healthy lifestyle with the young, not so young, junior and very senior all 'having a go'. A large number of events were held. Competition for team and individual prizes, was intense. As in previous years, Yau Tsim District took the Major Unit prize and Kowloon West Emergency Unit the Minor Unit prize. But judging from the amount of fun that was generated - everyone was a winner!
