On March 13, the then Hong Kong Island Regional Commander, Mr Yuen Ying-lam, presented 28 officers with Long and Meritorious Service Awards, eight officers with Commanding Officer's Commendations and 27 officers with retirement souvenirs, at a presentation ceremony held at Central Police Station.
