The Children's Playroom has now re-opened after renovation. It has been beautifully decorated in a 'Pirate' theme as you can see in the photograph, with new toys and books as well - we hope the kids (and adults!) will enjoy the new brighter, cleaner and more exciting environment.

We are busy planning our summer activities and we hope to have an announcement about some really exciting events soon. In the meantime, application forms are now available for Swimming Courses and Kids Activity Camps - they can be e-mailed or faxed to you, or you can pick them up from Reception. Please email asst-manager-poc@police.gov.hk for more details.

The Kids Camps will run from Monday to Friday (9am-12pm) and include lots of fun activities like tennis, soccer, basketball, swimming and more. The cost is $1,250 for one week.

The Swimming Classes will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons and the cost is $900 for 12 sessions.

Exciting news for lovers of good food and wine - we will be holding the first POC Wine Tasting Dinner on Saturday July 12. It is fantastic value at $380 per person! Places are limited, so book now on 2891-1924.

Congratulations to the winners of last month's POC Lucky Draw (grand prize two tickets to see Andy Williams in concert, assuming he actually turns up sometime this century). Top prize for June is an Ocean Park Gold Pass, which gives unlimited access to Hong Kong's top fun park for one whole year - don't forget you'll be given one lucky draw ticket every time you pay a bill in one of the Club's catering outlets.

Thanks to all Members who contributed to our survey on Swimming Pool cleaning times. It appears that the current closure times of 10-11am and 3-4pm are in fact the most acceptable, so there will be no change for now.

If you have any guests coming to meet you at the Club, and they don't know the way, you can ask them to click on our website www.poc.org.hk where you can now find a handy link to take you to a map showing our location.
