The Force aims to improve the overall quality and performance of the officers. One of the jobs of a Police Inspectorate Officer is to monitor areas for improvements and prepare proposals to address any problems that arise/exist. Officers' writing should be easily understood and address the issue effectively.

This CD-ROM is aimed to help Police Inspectorate Officers enhance their English writing skills in writing reports, papers and proposals. It aims to help Officers write in a more modern business way, with emphasis put on clarity, conciseness, simplicity and appropriate tone. In terms of report writing, it will heighten participants' awareness of good organisation skills relating to content, format, structure and linking. Practice exercises and some writing samples have been incorporated in the CD-ROM. They will maximise awareness of good writing and provide opportunity to put theory into practice.
