Letters of thanks to frontline officers

A letter was sent to Tsz Wan Shan Police Station by the Hong Kong Press Photographers Association to thank a traffic policeman who had given protection to a number of photographers threatened with physical violence while covering a case involving an illegal worker.

In another appreciation letter to Chai Wan Divisional Commander, a group of residents at a Quarry Bay building thanked Police Constable Mr Kwok Shiu-chuen, who managed to convince an elderly resident to maintain a clean living environment by clearing a huge volume of refuse in her possession.
