Imagine the scene: Typhoon Signal No. 8 has just been issued, 'Imbudo' is unleashing the full fury of it's weather on the territory and it's 3am. You are called to a slope collapse or a tree down on a major road - it's dark and you cannot see further than your nose. You need lots of light and quickly . . . lo and behold the latest addition to the Force's vehicle fleet is at hand. A fully loaded Cross Country Wagon with the addition of powerful 'NiteScan' extendible searchlights mounted on the roof.

One is available in each Region at short notice prior to any deployment of the larger Regional Mobile Command Unit vehicle includes similar lighting equipment. The Support Wing Transport Division is continually researching what products are available on the open market in an effort to upgrade and enhance services to both Force members and the public.
