When, at 12.56pm on July 25, Kowloon West Region (Crime) Station Sergeant Mr Herman Tsang Man-wai entered the Police Sports & Recreation Club (PSRC), he became the 20 millionth honourable guest to do so. As a reward Mr Tsang was given a table for dinner at the early August Chinese Folk Arts Night Show.

The General Manager Police Clubs Superintendent Mrs Hanny Yeung Yeung Ching-han said that for the last 18 years Force members and their families had enjoyed the leisure and sports facilities and activities held at the PSRC. It provided relief from the kind of stress that so often afflict them all.

Staff and members had forged an in-depth relationship over the years with something like 3,000 people a day making use of the facilities. Mrs Yeung emphasised that "members' involvement is our motivation to improve ourselves and strive for perfection. Besides the Chinese style BBQ site, the wonderful poolside environment, and well-equipped fitness gallery, we are working on a new bar, lobby and football balcony. It is our pleasure to serve you. With your continued support, we will always do our very best."
