Keep Wushu spirit alive

A total of 33 children of Force members took part in a fun-filled programme organised by the Police Chinese Wushu Club at Fujian's Putian Southern Shaolin Study Association during the summer vacation.

During their 13-day stay in Putian, Chief Inspector Mr Au Yeung Kwok-kee and Station Sergeant Mr Ho Chi-cheong led the participants to practise martial arts in a bid to stimulate their interests in Wushu.

Apart from practising Chinese martial arts, the youngsters also attended drill practice, studied the history of Shaolin Wushu and received intensive physical training. Through these activitives, they had developed not only self-discipline but also team spirit.
