At an anti-crime seminar held recently by the Sha Tin District Crime Headquarters, over 100 store attendants from the district were briefed on the basic skills of looking out for counterfeit credit cards and banknotes.

Guest speakers from VISA International and Commercial Crime Bureau's Counterfeit Section outlined the skills to an enthusiastic audience.

The Sha Tin District Intelligence Section Senior Inspector, Mr Kee Keah-yeong, said: "The seminar could help prevent crime in the district, especially when business is picking up after the SARS period. The seminar has also served a second purpose of enhancing liaison with the local community for our intelligence network."
