VIP PU looks for Sergeants of high calibre

The VIP Protection Unit (VIP PU) is recruiting Sergeants, and will hold a selection exercise on March 19 and 20.

The Unit is looking for officers of high calibre, who are fit, enthusiastic, and self-reliant with a high degree of initiative. Protective security work is both interesting and challenging, and the Unit will offer specialised firearms, tactical and medical training, etc.

Applicants should be able to meet the basic requirements of having at least three years' service at their present rank, good service record, completed a Police Tactical Unit Company attachment (for male applicants), able to swim, good eye-sight (wearing contact lenses will be considered), and no major disciplinary convictions.
