Police Rugby currently has three father-son combination.

Club Caption and ex-Hong Kong International Dave Lewis (CIP QRF) in deciding to inject some youth, speed and skill into the ageing ranks of the Police 1st XV, had to look no further than his son, John Paul.

"JP" is currently one of the top try scorers for Police this season along with the evergreen Dave. "JP" has also represented Hong Kong at Under 14, Under 16 and Under 19 levels and has toured with those teams to France, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Malaysia.

Also playing for Police is another father-son combination in the form of WT's SGT Bud Kwai-ming "Checkers", who has been playing Rugby for various Police teams for many, many years, and his son Bud Ka-chung, "Bud Lite". Bud Jr. has represented Hong Kong Under 16s, Under 19s and was selected for the Hong Kong Development XVs Squad 2002-2004.

Finally, whilst not exactly a player but long time supporter and team Physio, "Bones" or Keno, is proud to see his son Ho Cham-sum "Roy" play for both Police teams since he was 16 years old. Roy has been selected for the Hong Kong Development XVs Squad 2002-2004. The stark contrast in hairstyles is also of interest.

All are valuable additions to the sport.

In the HK Rugby Union 7s and Bill Riach 7s competition, which was recently played at the PSRC. Police were runners-up to a strong Valley Mustangs in the 3rd Division, whilst Police Panthers won the 4th Division title and the Braithwaite Cup.
