A job well done
Three crewmen of a sinking motorised yacht have presented banners to Marine Region for rescuing them from the stricken vessel.
The crewmen said they were impressed by the Small Boat Division's prompt response to their request for emergency assistance when the yacht took in water and sank off Shek O in May.
On being alerted of the request, two fast pursuit craft patrolling nearby immediately raced to the scene, rescued three crewmen and transferred them onto a police launch.
Presenting the banners, the crewmen said the swift action had saved them from a very dangerous situation.
