The Force's first Police Services Centre (PSC) opened in Central District on September 20 to provide round-the-clock services to the public, following relocation of the Central Police Station to Arsenal House, Police Headquarters.

Officiating at the opening of the PSC were Hong Kong Island Regional Commander Tang Kam-moon, Central District Commander Chau Kwok-leung, Central and Western District Council Chairman Chan Tak-chor and Central and Western District Fight Crime Committee Chairman David Lai.

In line with the Force's commitment to providing quality services, the PSC is aimed at providing an appropriate police facility in Central to serve the public after the relocation. It is not intended to replace a divisional police station, but to maintain, or even enhance Police services in a district.

Located at 149 Queen's Road Central, Ground Floor, the PSC provides services like receiving initial reports, handling requests for assistance, general enquiries, lost or found property and simple criminal cases.

It is also equipped with an electronic Information Kiosk for the public. Maps are also available for tourists and members of the public to locate scenic spots and other destinations.
