HKI Regional Sports Day

About 700 officers, both disciplined and civilian, from Hong Kong Island Region competed in various events during their 12th Regional Sports Day held at the Police Sports and Recreation Club last month.

As well as tug-of-war and fun game, the sports meet featured 7-a-side football, basketball, tenpin bowling, tennis, squash, table tennis, and running and swimming events.

Western District won the championship of the Major Unit Competition, and PTU E Company clinched the winning title of the Minor Unit Competition.

The "Victor Ludorum" title for the men's section went to two officers - Police Constable Lee Ka-bo of Western District and Police Constable Cheung Sai-yeung of Eastern District, while that for the women's section to Woman Sergeant Wong Wai-fong of Western District.
